We started off today with our first 7 deliveries of our CSA shares. And trust us, our legs are feeling it!
And forgive the finger blur in the photo — the sun was blinding us! (Not that we’re complaining!)
We’re looking forward to the rest of the season — and looking forward to meeting you — you know, after you decide to join forces with us and get a share of farm fresh veggies harvested, packed and delivered to you every Saturday afternoon!
Whee!
100 is a rather small number in the big scheme of things, right? It may seem that way. We mean, in a city home to more than 600,000 folks, 100 people makes up way less than 1% of the population. Small? Yes.
But this is where we can make a difference: 100 new CSA members with Clean Greens Farm would equate to:
- 1 Full Time Farmer
- 1 Part Time Farm Assistant
- 3 Part Time Farm Workers
- 25 families in need will be provided with hearty, healthy produce

So that’s where we come in. Together, we can not only create jobs, but also bring fresh, affordable food to everyone — from the ground up. (And did we mention home delivery via bicycle is .. free?)
